New Year Wishes

      It's last day of 2011!! Gosh.. Time flies... 

Too bad there won't be any New Year Eve celebration for me this year due to my finals is coming in just 4 day!!!

And another reason will be there aren't any New Year feel in Kota Kinabalu.

However, I don't really celebrate New Year eve in KL actually.

We will rather stay at home or go to some where high to watch the fire works.

P/s: really scare of the heavy traffic jam and the " snow flakes" there.

But i really miss the time watching fire works with my family.. T.T

Okay!

I have so many wishes for this coming New Year!!

Firstly, I hope to be a better person.

Being told by others that i'm a very 'distance' person. 

People just don't dare to come near me..

May be due to some unhappy experience, I tend to keep a distance with others "unrealized" by myself.

This coming New Year I hope i can minimize this "distance" feel and be a friendly person.

: )

I'm a very straight forward person.

Meaning... the way I talk..

May be some times I might hurt others feeling without realizing..

Actually I'm just joking but they can't get it ...

so misunderstanding occur..

Here, I would like to apologized to those who might hurt by me..

Really sorry for not being careful for my words.

I will try my best to change it..

But sometimes,

 i really feel that may be I will be happier just to be myself rather than pleasing other's thinking.

As quoted by Steve Jobs,

"Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's 

life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the 

results of other poeple's thinking. Don't let the noise of 

others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. "

So, i will just then be myself and I'm Happy with IT!!

And at last, due to some saying that 2012 will be the end of the world,

but I don't really sure whether the end is really coming.

But we should live as though there is no tomorrow!

We should live our life to fullest so that there will be no regrets!

Don't say that I will do it next time..

Cause there might be no NEXT TIME for you anymore!!

Not to scare you all, just...

 appreciate what you have now~

You might  be admiring what other's have that you don't have now

But actually, there might be others who are looking at you and admiring what you have now. 

So, be thankful for every thing you have now~

Be thankful for having Some 1 that love you~

Your family, friends and love ones~

Don't wait till the end of the world comes , then you only regret.

At last, I would like to say..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Ding Dong Ding DONG~~ It's Christmas Time~~~

           "Merry Merry Christmas~ Lonely Lonely Christmas~" 

 Opps!! We can't spend our Christmas alone even  when we are SINGLE!!!!

This year i spent my Christmas Eve with my Best Friend!! Wei Ping and Lao da!!

What can i say...

Christmas in Kota Kinabalu is kind of BORING..

Preparing to go out!!

First stop we went to ZenQ- New dessert in town. Yummy!!

Next, we went for a movie- Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol!

It is a SUPERB movie!!!

We have our Christmas Eve Dinner at Little Italy~

Peach and Raspberry Soda 

Feel some Christmas atmosphere when people around us dress up nicely with their Christmas deco on their head~

Little Italy Pizza~ Abit salty...

But i still think that Little Italy have the best Pizza in Town!

P/s: especially when i'm a Pizza lover~

3 types of different spaghetti

Well, we did not have any event by that night actually.

We rounded whole KK area but there weren't any count down activity happening.

So, we went back to my house and had a night walk around the housing area.

What a boring night!

The Next day, It is Christmas!!!

Due to there aren't any activity planned, so we decided to cook for our Christmas Dinner!

We wondered around Kingfisher for around One and a Half hour just to buy our Ingredient!

We plan to have ABC soup, Chicken,  Fried prawns, Eggs and Vege for our Dinner!

The hardest work that was CUTting the Chicken!!

Of course we save it for Our home Lao Da~

Pity Little Chicken~ Split into half~

Then, it will be the "unskinning" of  the Prawn!!

It was a scary experience as some of the prawn " SURVIVE" very well..

They did not die even when immersed in ice water..

So... we just have to wait for it to "pass away" patiently..

Finally, after long hour of cooking...

WALA!!!! Our CHRISTMAS DINNER!!!

Good looking and taste nice TOO~

It feels like HOME!!!

Guys who didn't contribute  in cooking have to wash all the dish~

Had a great Christmas dinner with my Friends~
We chat , jokes and talking Craps~
But I feel thankful to have a bunch of great friend with me all this time~
You guys just make up my day~ :)

Happy Winter Solstice!!! 冬至!!!

        This year I celebrated Winter Solstice in Sabah .

 P/s: It's my first time celebrating  winter solstice away from home.. T.T

So pity and I'm home sick for that!!

Never mind, although we are away from home but we still can celebrate this Traditional Chinese festival with our friend~ 

By making Tang Yuan ( Rice ball) together!!!

First round , making Tang Yuan with my course mates in my house.

Firstly , we add water and few drops of oil into the flour and make it into a big ball~

The making of D.I.Y colouring from pandan leaves.

P/s: In the process of extracting Chlorophyll from the leaves.

However, we failed.... Can't really see the green colour..

At least , we still have the red colour Tang Yuan~

Yeah~ let make it into Rice ball~

 Wala~ Our home made Tang Yuan~

Lai Chi as dessert~ xp

 By the way, adding in Lai chi into the Tang yuan taste not bad at all~

My second round of Rice ball making was during Pesta Tiong Hwa (PTH) Induction Day~

This gathering aimed to let each PTH member to get know each other so that we can collaborate smoothly and happily ~

 Firstly, we have a fun Ice breaking session with our penyelaras and other units~

Then, we played some fun station game~

This is the silent game where we can only move our body without making any sound to pass the information.

 News paper cutting game where we learnt that collaboration is very important in a team.

Next , we have Tang Yuan making session~

Each group are required to make a design based on our PTH theme- The Heir of Dragon~

Yeah~ we finished our design~

This was our group design~

Most important- HYGIENE!!

It's cooking time~

Yummy!!!!

It's taste so good especially when you make it together with your friend~

Having fun time with Friends~

Pesta Tiong Hwa Members!! Say Cheese!!

It's kind of sad when we can't spend Some Festival with our family.

But from here ,we learnt to appreciate the time we have with our family.

And not to forget, friends play a very important role in your life especially when we are far away from home.

 Finally it's some time for me to take a break. Being super Duper Busy for This Few weeks.. Always not enough sleep..

      I would like to share bout my Nice Weekends Get away to Logos Hope last week~ 

Its a nice Outing actually~

 P/S: except we get lost in finding the Logos Ship. 

We walk from Suria to Jesselton Point , then only find out that it was at another port.. >.<

      Its my First time entering a large ship like this. Feel so Excited bout it!!!

      

When we reach KK port, there were shuttle bus provided to send the visitors to the ship.

The entrance fee was just RM1!!!

 Entering the ship, we were welcome by warm smile of the Logos Hope's crew.

 We were given a short and brief introduction about the ship.
