BonOdori 2012 Shah Alam

Japanese dancing, Japanese Food, Japanese Kimono,
Beautiful Girls!!!!
Oh, It's BonOdori again!!!

This year I'm lucky to be able to attend the BonOdori Festival in Shah Alam during my holidays~
Although I live in KL for so many years, I never attended any of this BonOdori before!
So, this year I wont Miss out this colourful festival again!!
I attended this fun festival with my sis and her friends~

The first thing I saw when I reached the stadium : Girls with Kimonos!!!

Spotted a Leng Zai with Kimono too~ Xp

Besides dancing and shows, Japanese also picnic during the festival!
They even brought their own mat to sit and rest on it.

Another attraction of BonOdori will be the Japanese food sold here by many different stalls such as Sushi King, Sakea Sushi and many more.

The queue was so long for each of the stall..
However the food was in really small portion and not really tasty...

Rice ball

Unagi bento

Chicken bento

Sea food Egg Pizza

Red bean rice.. The worst rice I ever tried...
It was hard and tasteless..  No one wants to finish the poor rice~ XP

After our stomach fulled, it was the time for the main event- Dancing!!!
The crowd started to gather around the stage and SO music started!!!

Dancing is fun when you get to dance Crazily with a bunch of friends~
It was an amazing experience to dance with lots of people surrounding the stage~
Music~ Dance~ Sweat~
Love it!!!
We also try out the Kimono outfit too~
Do we look Kawaii?

The Legendary Char Siew Rice- 销魂饭

If you still remember the movie “食神” of Stephen Chow,
the dish that made the jury to cry is the legendary  "黯然销魂饭".

黯然销魂饭 means the rice which take your soul away.
Actually it is a traditional Hong Kong dish of Char Siew rice.
You must feel very curious of what is the mysterious behind an ordinary Char Siew rice?
Now, you don't need to fly over to Hong Kong just to have a try of this legendary dish,
but you can find it here just in KL at Restaurant  CH Herbal Soup Sdn Bhd!!
P/s: C. H is the initial for Chung Hwa.

This is the legendary Char Siew Rice- 销魂饭.
It is served with  a perfect fried egg, fresh vegetable and well cook Char Siew pork.
A mouth full of rice mixed with Char Siew, egg yolk and it's sauce will really take your soul away.

I just love the slightly roasted  but tender Char Siew pork~
It can be said as the best Char Siew in town!
Thumbs up for it!
However the Char Siew rice is not on the menu, so you need to order it with their waiter.

Another main character in this restaurant was their Roasted Duck.
Once you have a bite of the scrumptious skin and its juicy meat, you will definietly fall in love with this dish!!!
It was just Amazing!!!

Besides the Char Siew rice, this restaurant is very famous with their herbal soup in pot.

Double boiled Chicken Soup with Bitter Gourd
A bowl of yummy and healthy soup is just the best way to nourish yourself after  tiring day.

They offer a variety of herbal soup with good ingredients.
The price range from RM7.50 for small, RM15 for medium and RM20 for large size of soup.

Their herbal soup are slowly boiled in the big pot which is placed in front of the shop.

The restaurant was air-conditioned and was fulled with customers even during weekday.
Here are some photo of my family dinning in the restaurant.

My mom and dad

My sis

Do we look alike with spectacles on?

Searching for nice food in KL?
This new restaurant will be a great choice to have a try for yummy food~

Restaurant  CH Herbal Soup Sdn Bhd
16, Jalan Angsana, Taman P.Ramlee, Setapak 53200 Kuala Lumpur.
It is located beside Jalan Genting Klang
just beside the Kedai Makan Zin Sin which is the famous sea food restaurant.
销魂饭 definiently will be a must eat food when I'm back in KL.

My New Camera Lumix GF5

Finally It's Holiday~
I felt so good to back in KL and back in home! ^^v
Just bought a new camera in Low Yat for my Final Year Project.

I bought the new Lumix GF5 with twins lens.
It is an upgraded version of GF3.
I just love the touch screen where I can just select the point that I wish to focus by just pointing on the screen~
I can  simply take photos which require high skill by just switching to its scene mode.
Here are some test photo taken using GF5:

I just love the clear night mode which make the photo look like day even taken in night!
P/s: the photo will look like day light if you push the flash up rather than facing the object.

As usual my sis will be my testing subject~
These were photo taken when My sis 3rd anniversary with her boy friend~
Testing 1,2,3~

I'm the Paparazi~
