S.wine Cafe, Publika Solaris : The Porky Delicious Cuisine

Opps... Sorry for the ugly piggy face..
But this post is all about Pork so a Piggy post is a must!
So, sorry to all my Muslim readers as this is a non-halal food post...

Well, from the name of this cafe, we can easily know what is on the menu--> Pork Cuisine!

S.wine Cafe is located at the corner within the B.I.G store in Publika.
P/s: A secret hiding place where all the windows were shut tide!!!

Hint: the place where they sell Non-halal food and there's where it is!

Let's see what is on the Menu!

Eggs Benedict RM24.00
This Eggs Benedict was so amazing!!! I craved for it ever since I had a taste on it!

It really melted my heart when stuffing all three layers of the Thick Ham, vege and the Bread which coated with the egg yolk into my mouth!!!!

Spicy Bacon with Mushrooms RM28.00
Personally I don't really like pasta which is overload with creamy sauce, so this pasta was just alright for me.
With the flavorful dried bacon bits,  eating a mouthful of the less salty pasta together with a bits of bacon will taste just right, not too salty or too heavy.

Sausage and Bacon Chunks Pasta RM28.00
The sauce was enriched with creamy capsicum tomato and fulled with thick bacon chunk coated on every strand of pasta.
If you prefer pasta with creamy sauce, then this will be the just right pasta for you.

Warm Pork Confit, Watermelon & Lycee Salad RM28
This is a delightful pork belly salad where pork actually taste great with Lycee and watermelon!
Look a bit weird but it is refreshing and taste unexpectedly good too!

The surface of the pork belly was crunchy yet the inner was soft especially the fats!!!
I just love it where we can taste the texture of every different layers within the meat which was blended so well.
P/s: Usually I will cut out the fats part cause I don't really like it..

Highly recommend to share the food with your friends as the portion is quite big.
Besides, you can have a taste of  different type of cuisine if your share~~

Thank you to my colleagues who brought me here and shared these good food with me~

Another food hunt with Ying Tin!

Well, the food in S.wine cafe is great, the interior is great and Both the food and interior are full with creativity.
Thumbs up for S.wine cafe!

I Love Yoo!!! 老油鬼鬼, Pavilion KL

Dear blog, sorry I have been "neglected" you during my Chinese New Year Holiday.
I have been busy eating, sleeping and watching TV.
Lappy, sorry for choosing TV over you..
Well, everything back to normal again since my holiday was ended and I have returned to KK.
It was just the first week back to KK and I have already missing the food in KL.
One of the top listed food that I have been craving for is " I LOVE YOO"!
P/s: This is not a valentine post but a Food post!

I Love Yoo or 老油鬼鬼 is a must eat Food when I'm shopping in Pavilion and Fahrenheit.
I still remember that my first reaction when my parents ordered the porridge and the You Tiao,
I was like " what? eat You Tiao in Pavilion?! There are so many choices here and we eat You Tiao?!"
But after I tried a mouth full of You Tiao dipped inside the porridge,
I was wrong of being doubtful with the food!
OMG!!!! It was so delicious!!!!

Crispy yet not too oily You Tiao,  dipped inside the smooth and fragrant porridge,
a traditional yet extraordinary yummy Chinese cuisine!
P/s: It's hard to find such crispy and Fresh You Tiao but you can find it here!
Oh ya! You can find Oyster, Scallop inside the porridge too!

Soft yet "Qwie" glutinous rice stuffed inside the golden bun,
this Mix Bun really does amaze me!

Actually it was my first time eating a Fresh Mix Bun as those bought by my mom from morning market were usually cold n hard.
So, I highly recommend this Mix Bun as a must try food! ( RM1.40)

Tau Fu Fa ( RM3.20) is just one word- " Awesome!".
It is actually one of the best Tau Fu Fa that I ever tied.
Soft Tau Fu Fa with its fragrant soya smell just melts me away~

Another must try is the Soya drink~
It is served pure without sugar in it so that you can add in the right portion that suits you.
The magic of it is adding in 2 spoons of sugar and WALA~~~~
P/s: This is my preference, you can adjust how much sugar you like to add in.

I Love Yoo, Pavilion is located in the food court at Ground floor,
just opposite the Wo Lai Ye , 我来也肉干.
P/s: Not all branches of I Love Yoo taste the same,
as I have tried it in another branch of I Love you ,
it just don't taste right.
so I highly recommend the pavilion branch as the food really taste awesome!
And It's HALAL too! so our Muslim friend can have a try of this taste great cuisine~

#Ootd of the day: I Love Rock n Roll!!

Krabi Thai Restaurant, Setapak KL

I'm back to Kota Kinabalu!!!
Sorry for din't really update my blog during the holiday..
I was too busy working and too tired to open my lappy.. xp
Well, since i'm back to KK one week earlier before class started I will update my blog more frequently.
So, now I will blog bout things that I do during my holiday~
So let's tune back to the time when my sis brought home 3 coupons from Krabi Thai Restaurant.

So, we decided to go there to have a lunch as it was just near my home and I never try the food there before.

Krabi Thai is a newly opened restaurant in Setapak area.
It is located at the second floor of the new PV128 which gives the customer a superb city view.

The environment of this restaurant is good and comfortable.
So let' have a look of the Thai food served here!
I was going for the set lunch offer for RM9.90~

Green Curry
a highly recommended dish from the customers.
The green curry was thick and very spicy.
My mouth and tongue heated up immediately once I had a sip of the curry.
If you like spicy food, you will sure love this green curry~

Tom yam
This is the dish that I like the most in Krabi Thai!
The spicy of this Tom yam appeared only after when it goes down your throat!
Thumbs up for it!!!!

Petai Shrimp Rice
The shrimps were fresh and a mouth full of the petai smell.
For petai lovers, you can have a try on this dish~

Butter Shrimp rice
It taste almost like chinese shrimp rice and taste quite good too.
The shrimps were fresh but i feel that the portion of this dish was quite small.
There were only four shrimps served in one dish.
So, better go for the dish with soup as there are more 'material' available.

Every set lunch comes with a glass of Thai tea or Ice lemon tea.

Overall, the food in Krabi Thai is quite nice and the price is affordable.
If you looking for new food to eat around Setapak area, Krabi Thai may be a good place to dine in.

Address:
2-1, 2nd Floor, Platinum Mondrain PV128, Jln Genting Klang, Setapak, KL.
P/S: It is in the same building of 不见不散 cafe.

Reunion in Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant, Midvalley

During my long long semester break in KL, I finally have the chance to gather with Ming Gee~
She is my friends in UMS but she left UMS to study in UCSI, Cheras.

Although we both live in KL but it was so hard to meet since when I'm having holiday ,she will be having exam..
The funny thing to be with Ming Gee is we will always lost our direction!
We lost our direction to go to the restaurant,
go to car park,
find the car,
we keep lost lost LOST!!! xp
P/s: I also don't know the direction..
After quite some time "losting" in Midvalley, finally we settled down at Chili's to have our Brunch~

Actually , it was my first time trying Chili's food although there is Chili's in KLCC too which is near to my house.

The best thing to have a date with your Girlfriend is you can always share the main course with her to save up your stomach for dessert!!

Fire-Grilled Chicken and Portobello RM33.95
The grilled mushroom, the sauce and with a bit of bacon was just a prefect match!!!
However the grilled chicken was too dry...
The dish was quite big and it was enough for two girl to eat until full~
P/s: Actually there was also a big scoop of mash potato which was covered in the photo.
After the lunch, we went to had dessert too~
P/s: Ming gee was craving for dessert that time.

So we went to Tong Pak Fu to try out their mango dessert.

Chilled mango Sago Creme with pamello and Ice -cream
The pamello taste abit bitter actually..
But still love the mango and the cream~
After the dessert we wonder around and met Mr. Mickey!!!!

There are so many creative design of mickey shown here~
This is one of my favourite!

Tron Mickey~

Mickey badge souvenir~

I feel so happy to gather with Ming gee again~
Hope to see her soon!
