The Ended of Pesta Tiong Hwa 2012

For quite a time I didn't really on facebook and update my blog.

This is due to for that period of time, 

I was super Duper busy with Pesta Tiong Hwa.

Busy selling tickets at town, in library, 

room to room selling in Kampung, 

having road show,

having carnival day,

and at last 

Malam Kemuncak Pesta Tiong Hwa.

Off course, lots of "unpleasant" thing sure will occur among members of this big event.

But despite that, I have earned many friendship and experience in the process too.

I meet a group of "Crazy" publicity unit members.

Again crazy idea~ 

Others keep looking at us while we taking these photo~

I remember from the silence during the first meeting to the craziness that we had together. 

Well, we are happy big family~

We back up each other when something happens.

Publicity Rocks!!

We have many works to do before the Pesta Tiong Hwa.

It's tiring but we mange to fun some fun in it~

Through this event, I also have the chance to be a emcee~~

So, I became the emcee for Launching day, Road show and Carnival day for Pesta Tiong Hwa.

If you never try, you will never know the possibilities that you can make~

Never thought that I can be a emcee too~

But it is really fun and I LOVE it now!

Hope that next time I can be emcee again for other event~

Being a emcee, the first criteria is :

You must talk craps even when there aren't any one bother to listen to you.

You must learn to "Siok Sendiri". xp

P/s: As people just eat their own dinner and don't even bother what we are doing.

But luckily still have my members that supported me and Siok with me~

Then, I became the Emcee for Carnival day too~

A much bigger event than launching day and road show.

But I enjoyed it too~

P/s: Actually feel quite happy when people give me some compliment that I'm actually quite good in emceeing~ xp

The boss of Lo Han Ko stall even give me free drinks for that.

Hehehe~

This time I became the Mandarin Emcee as my partner doesn't speak Chinese well.

P/s: I'm the English Emcee for Launching day and Road Show.

But I also speak in Malay as well~

It's only rain during late noon.

Especially when we dance together during the rain along Big Bang song.

Although others are looking at us as though we are crazy,

but we just don't care cause we are having fun with that!!

The day of Malam Kemucak have reached.

The day started badly when I met a pervert at bus stop while I waiting for bus.

He actually showed and played with his "THING" in front of me which make me super angry and tried to hit him with my bottle.

At last I took out my pepper spray then  only he left quickly..

P/s: So regret that I didn't manage to spray it on him!

It's a long day for us.

I'm on duty to sell tickets at the entrance.

A Crazy and Busy day!!!

But we still having fun as to release our stress~

Adventure To Bella Italia KK

Pizza~ pizza~ Pizza~

I just Love Pizza~

Any place that have great pizza,

Then I just can't miss it!!!

So...

The story begin with I having a whole bunch of Bella Italia Pizza Coupon for lunch ,

P/s: "Left over from Pesta Tiong Hwa"

So,

My course mates planned to pay this fancy looking Bella Italia a look,

to have our lunch there while having a break in between our classes.

And Guess how do we go to KK town from my University?

 We go by MOTORCYCLE!!!!

4 GIRLS riding on motorcycle and travel quite far to the town just for PIZZA!!!

Sounds crazy right?

That's why I'm in!! xp

So, we travel under the super hot sun and reach our destination,

BELLA ITALIA!

Let's have the look of the Menu First~

There are different promotion set for different day or period of time.

And this is the lunch promotion set only from 15 march to 15 April!!!

So, we have a try of this lunch set for 2~

P/s: Actually we have 4 person here, but we wanna try other food as well.

We are so Lucky~

So, this is the HUNGRY CHICKEN Carribean  style~

This chicken is just AWESOME!!!

It is so tender and  the marinated herbs smell and taste so GOOD!!!

We just LOVE it so much!!

This is 1 of the 3 side dishes that we can choose from the set.

Home Made Chorizo & Roasted Potato

If you like cheese, then You will definietly like this cuisine.

P/s: but it seems like the food in Bella is less salty.

So, if you like less salty food, Bella Italia is just the right choice for you!

I wonder this is Calypso Rice or Red Bean With Rice.

Cause I ordered the Calypso rice but this rice came with red beans.

However,this tasted very well too!!

It's kind of mixation of Asian and Western food.

The Western herbs mix well with the rice and red beans~

Yummy~~~

Jerk Spiced Potato Wedges

Actually I love wedges..

But, wedges here taste less salty...

May be it is served to like that, so that we can taste the original taste of potato..

May be....

Prawn Brisque Soup

Erm... I dislike this soup...

For me, it taste quite weird..

May be I don't really "into" western style of prawn soup..

But you can always choose the Carribean Salad as another choice. :)

And this is the HAWAIIAN PIZZA!!!

This is the main reason why we come to Bella~

I like the crust~ so crispy~

I love the cheese too~~

Just that the pine apple may be a little too sour..

But...

i will definantly come back for the Pizza!

As for the drinks, I highly recommended the Fresh Mint Lemonade!!

Feel weird right when you heard the combination of mint and lemonade?

Me too at first..

But after the first sip...

WAO!!

It taste so NICE!!!

Before this I was kinda worried of the mint smell,

but actually the mint does't taste very strong but mixed well with lemonade!

Highly recommended this drink~

Besides that, the pure Lemonade also taste nice too~

There are glasses prepared on the table so that you can share the drinks~

Now let's have a look of the interior of this restaurant~

They are serving Wines too~ 

There are a bar inside here.

Many foreigners here too~

Woo~~ fancy decorations~

May be it is for dinner~

I think so...

It is actually located inside the Jesselton Hotel.

It's kinda hard to find the entrance..

but actually you have the entrance just beside the entrance of Jesselton Hotel.

P/s: you have to go through the entrance of Jesselton Hotel.

And, there's a funny thing happened in Bella when we dined in.

There was a Datuk who thought that we are from China and ask the waiter for it.

Off course, we are not!!! 

We told him that we are UMS students.

Then before he left, he came to our table and have a small chat with us.

When we ready to pay the bills, we are told that the Datuk already paid for us!!! 

so , each of us just need to pay RM3.10 for the Superb Lunch!!

Hot Sell Tickets of Pesta Tiong Hwa!!!!

Pesta Tiong Hwa is just around the corner!!!

So this few weeks before the Malam Kemuncak,

it will be a hideous weeks for me..

This is all because I am the Publicity Units Crew of Pesta Tiong Hwa a.k.a. PTH.

It's our job to publicise  this event to UMS students and also the public too.

During last semester, our publicity units had run some event such as the Launching day of PTH.

We also design banners, streamers and poster too.

P/S: To do that I have to learn to use Adobe Photoshop.

It is my 1st time using this software.

You can see our beautiful poster posted on top.

This is the product after many times of banned by the KP and repeated editing by our members.

I'm proud with it!!

So, now my priority job is SELLING TICKETS!!!

We have been going around KK town selling tickets to outsiders.

It is a really tough task for us..

We have been travelling to Lintas, Damai, Kingfisher, Kg Air, Beverly Hill, Foh San, Karamunsing...

It's hard to be brave and just bums into any stranger and convince them to buy tickets from you.

Many looking at us like we are conducting SCAMS...

But we still meet many nice Aunty Uncle that supported our PTH events.

Well, what can I say is..

It was a tiring task as we travel since morning to night..

We turned from Fresh and energetic man to Salted Fish ( tired and down) man..

Holiday Ended

Well..

I'm back in KK again..

Such bad mood when leaving home again...

First day in KK but I'm already missing home..

Really miss my family..

My cute family~

My holiday life was just EAT, SLEEP and WATCH TV!!

Din't really go out much except with my family and my Sister's Geng~

 I spent my Valentine Day  with my parents~

Awkward combination when people around us were all couple.

But spend a great time with them~

P/S: My mom fall in LOVE with CAM WHORING!!!

She will Kill me if I post her camwhoring photo~

So PLAY SAFE!! 

I also went to My sis friend's graduation day~

3. strip dance ( Off course just stripping of the jacket)

Feel that he really care about me

He is so afraid that i will fall down from the motor or crash into others car...

Yang Mooi Mix Beef Noodles, KL

Opps~

It's time to EAT again!!!

This time I blog about a MUST EAT food while I come back to KL!!

The Yang Mooi BEEF NOODLES!!

~牛腩面~

This is my favourite Dry Mixed Beef Noodles~

The price is RM5.50 for big and RM4.80 for small bowl of noodle.

It is actually Wan Tan Mee served with a bowl of Mixed Beef Soup separately.

The wan tan mee just taste great with the correct saltiness and I just love the fragrant black paste which smell and taste delicious! 

Well, I'm a huge fans of Wan Tan Mee~

Not to Forget The MAIN CHARACTER of the day -the Mixed Beef soup!

The strong fragrant beef soup without tasting over "meaty" make this Mixed Beef Soup as my Favourite of all!!!

I just Love the Beef Stomach which is so tender yet "Q"iuw!

That is the best piece in the mixed beef soup!

The beef meat taste Awesome too!!!

The tender and soft meat taste even better with the special chili recipe which make the beef taste a little bit of spicy yet FRESH, taking it into the whole level!

Unlike some shops that use lots of flour to FAKE the tenderness of the meat...

Thumbs UP for them!

You can also choose to have the soup noodles.

But I prefer the dry Noodles more~

Clay Pot Beef Mix

The "Qiuness" of the tender with the fragrant stew white carrot make this dish taste just "WALA~~MAMAMIA"

Too bad this is only available during weekends and public holiday.

You can find this delicious noodle in

P/s: If you have problem finding it,

it is located just opposite the Pandan Indah Police Station.

It is also located at the shop-lot opposite the Steven Corner. 

It open every day except Friday from 8.00a.m to 8.00p.m.

So don't go there during Friday~

This is One of My favourite food in KL.

Hakka Marble Restaurant Cheras

Coming back to KL, 

the first thing to do sure is to EAT Good Food!!!

Don't misunderstand that the GOOD food I mean is Expensive food.

But actually is cheap and TASTY food!!!

Coming to CHERAS,

 there are many nice and hidden food known only by locals.

I would like to introduce a Chinese restaurant:

Restaurant Hakka Marble

美浩天美食馆

It is a famous restaurant among the locals. 

A special thing bout this place is that you can hear of a very loud singing of birds returning home to their trees along the road out side the restaurant during the night.

The restaurant was fulled during dinner time.

We have to wait for quite some times before we were seated.

This is the famous Hakka Marble- 金瓜算盘子

This is my sis and my favourite dish!!

The Hakka Marble is very "Kiuu~~~"

This is Fried Rice.

It seems like normal fried rice but it's smell so good~~

And taste very good too~~

It is my bro favourite food~

Another must try food is their Fried Laksa!!

It's a very creative and yummy food too~

But it's a bit spicy.. 

The vegetable soup is awesome too~

There are salted egg inside it!!

Great combination!!!

Why do I have 3 bowls with 3 different food at the same time?

Cause we are FIGHTING for food!!!

If I do not  "RESERVE" it, then it will be finished by others..

Here are some tips while ordering food:

If u go there with your family or a group of friend,

Try order more dishes for single unit instead of few large unit dishes.

By doing this, your dish will be served faster and you can try more different types of dishes too~
